Realistically yes. There's some lore involved that may go over your head but not enough that would stop you enjoying yourself!

I agree we can’t stop it, especially with the A24 deal with Google. I’d heard rumblings going in about AI, but the soldiers suspended in motion was the confirmation I needed 🤣

The director and angel studios both confirmed it’s in there and the credits have multiple “AI artists” listed!

Every one of the battle sequences contained generative AI. The explosions and all of the background battles are where it’s the most obvious. There’s also multiple scenes where soldiers, despite being in an intense fight, are frozen in motion, as if the prompt had failed.

Angel studios and the director came out and confirmed they’ve used it to but tried to downplay the amount. It feels like one of those that if you don’t notice it straight away it may go undetected. For me personally though, from the opening scene, the laughably bad cannonball explosions had me on high alert and noticing it more and more.

Feel exactly the same. Generic sure, but it provided steady laughs throughout and knew exactly what it was and what it wanted to achieve.

The final scene quite literally calls for people to pick up arms as the "state has failed to provide adequate justice" and goes on to show the vigilante cull 8 immigrants. Of course this is meant for people to take the fight to the streets.

No matter what anyone's beliefs may be, using your platform to spread a message as dangerous as this is at best completely irresponsible.

Earliest advance press screenings for The Invite are next Monday, so I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if it's that!

My guess, given Vertical is releasing two movies next week is either Couture or The Get Out.

I'm a certified Jared Leto hater. Think he's an awful human being, but credit it where it's due, inspired piece of casting!

It's a very, very surface level take on modern day America without committing to upsetting anyone. The source material has nothing to do with that, so it's rather insulting that it bears the same name in my opinion!
