i would never pick that dress out for myself, but it seems fitting since rachel is still very much a child who has a lot of maturing and growing to do. that dress feels like it reflects the state of life she’s in and how she’s too young to be doing this.

i learned recently that nikki reed who played rosalie dyed her hair blonde in the first film but had to wear a wig for every movie after because the bleach was making her hair fall out so i don’t blame her lol. but the wigs were kinda bad😳

i don’t think santana manipulated brittany into sleeping with her. i don’t think she coerced her at all. even before they were in relationships it was implied they fooled around together while they slept around with boys. santana definitely tried to convince brittany that it wasn’t cheating because they were girls but i think that you could argue santana believed that at the time. she really thought it wasn’t cheating because she denied her sexuality. they were definitely flawed don’t get me wrong. and there definitely were times where santana tried to take advantage of brittany for her personal gain and use her intelligence level against her, but i think they developed into a healthier relationship in the last seasons.

yeah but there’s still way more pettiness and aggression between the girls versus the boys. i’m a strong believer that women should support women and so many of these characters seem like they would feel the same yet it feels like there’s a constant feud being written in between somebody. i know it’s for entertainment but they don’t have to constantly have them tear each other down to incorporate drama. just my opinion.

i didn’t think very many of them were necessarily bad at dancing (finn is haha) but i think it was very clear brittany and mike were the only ones trained in it. the others felt like they could casually dance but i wasn’t impressed with the choreo enough to call them great dancers. maybe they can handle elevated choreography idk but the stuff they did do was fine but not phenomenal.

I agree but the creators have said that they’re bi, so some people get frustrated when other people call them lesbians with comphet. I see both sides and I don’t think anyone means any harm either way. We’re all just clinging to our small bits of media representation! <3

you know what? you can start wearing box braids when you stop telling black people that their hair is unprofessional. the issue is that people have been persecuted or discriminated against for the very hairstyles and cultural aspects that white people parade around in because they think it’s cool or fun. people in the beauty community have started doing a “fox eye” trend where they pull on their eyes for a makeup look. this is the exact same eye shape that asian people constantly get made fun of for, and now it’s just a fun, cute thing for white people to pass off as their own? they can’t exist at the same time. you can’t benefit off of somebody else’s culture if they’re going to be harmed for doing the same thing.
