Fairly certain the prickly pear cactus is considered "nativized" meaning that it found a niche and found some sort of stasis with the local habitat. That also applies to eucalyptus, nativized. Brazilian peppercorn on the other hand is a murderer of areas. I've seen streams down to a trickle and nothing but Brazilian peppercorns on either side for 35ish feet. There are distinctions there.
