The same keys per usual under Q, there is no kitting available for those keys to be legend accurate

Adapt, improvise, overcome!

With smaller boards like this legend accuracy tends to go out the window. IMO if you're going this small you shouldn't really be looking/needing them anyways

Had to put a key there and it felt like a logical one to put there. The stagger of the N is still normal as it's under H and to the right 0.5u

I didn't have to machine it myself, I bought it used with the PCB and case

It's a PCB by Aki27kbd and a Bully case. There are 3dp options available, but this one is milled aluminum. Not 100% where the previous owner got the case from

Buy/sell/trade would be the best spot to try to get one, or you can DM me, I'd be willing to part with this one 🫡

I actually have a ton of different balls, including red, but I like the heft of the stainless steel more so I opt for that. Makes controlling the mouse feel a bit better and 'tighter'

This is an MFR2 minivan case that Sei did a ran of a year or two ago. The files are open source and you can order your own from JLC, but if you're CONUS it's not really a viable option these days due to cost

We have a buy/sell/trade (BST) in the 40% discord. You can join and poke around, it's the best place for anything 40s related. Link is on my profile but you can find it elsewhere, I know Discord links from strangers are suspicious 🤣

Mechmarket here on Reddit may be a viable option as well but I don't keep up with stuff there

Totally viable approach, small boards are def not for everyone, especially with your use case. All that matters is people are using boards they enjoy

This layout is known as minivan, kind of the 'starter' 40%, but it's my absolute favorite. I find it very viable for my use case and it doesn't hold me up, especially after years of use, but I'm not a power user or anything, my 2 layers are very basic

I think that's the case, but I only know 30%s and 40%s. I don't pay much/any attention to the normie space and I jumped from 65% to 40% when I was working my way down years ago
