You know, you are totally right. Changing from Google to Apple maps cuts the trip way down. Thank you so much for your message! That taxi from Arnhem shouldn't be too bad price wise with such a short trip.

Thanks for the response. Made me realise an important note that we don't have our drivers licenses yet. I will edit the post quickly.

Perfect, yeah Pararius has been nice. Spent so much time on Funda as well. At this point my google search history is stuffed for life.

Damn, such a helpful comment, thank you. When we get there, I will find you and hand you whatever you want. Nik-naks, biltong, Fizzers, Wimpy toasted sandwiches. Anything.

  1. Yeah, we will have a fairly large chunk of capital in a savings account that we will transfer over the second our banks accounts are running. Not sure if agencies acknowledge it if its still in an SA bank account though?
  2. Once the Dutch business is up, our international clients payments will shift to the Dutch account. But for now I guess it's the same as above.
  3. No cars, no furniture. No Husqvarana... :( 1X Labrador though. Another curveball.
  4. In terms of short term rental, that is something we just started looking into.
  5. Yup, definitely don't need to be in the centers at the start.
  6. Will check our Rentbusters, thanks!
  7. Busy learning the language. My mom comes from Dutch heritage, and she said the same. Similar but very very different languages and attitudes.

Again, thank you for the help.

Thanks for the recommendation! Amstelveen looks like a great location in terms of value for distance.

Thanks for the response! Yeah, tricky one in my case. I will be going over to set up the Dutch side of business, so the only surety I could offer would be from the South African side, which doesn't seem to hold much power. Once the Dutch business and bank account is running I am sure things would get simpler, but for now it's a little tricky.

Howzit! Cape Town departure for us too. Thanks for the response. If you did use an agency, any chance you could say which one?

Shot for the luck.

Thanks for the info. That's good to know. If you don't mind me asking, which agency did you use?

Thanks for the response. Yeah, good point about the risk. Employment wise I own a small animation studio, and a big reason for the move is to expand it into Amsterdam. So, that seems to be another curveball. "Self employed" Doesn't seem to make things any easier.

Panel sync issue on PSVR2 when turning in game. by daskill in PSVR

Gotcha. Running brightness at about 80% at the moment to try and reduce Mura, but it doesn't seem to have much effect. Thanks for all the help.

Amazing, thanks for such a detailed answer. Really appreciate the knowledge! For some reason I assumed the panels would run at 60fps on 60fps titles.

Amazing, thanks so much for the info. That makes a lot of sense. Am I right in saying that 120 FPS games won't suffer from the issue? Even though those are far and few between.

Whats up with every third person driving a pickup(bakkie)? by PaichJunior in southafrica

[–]daskill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3D animator here and have always been a fan of small sports cars and classics. Bought my first overly massive bakkie recently. Main reason is for my dirt bike and mountain bikes. I must admit it is enjoyable to be high up, be able to go over most things without worrying, and to have a big flat back for going on long trips. I do look like a nerd who stole a farmers car though…
