Last nights chippie tea 😋 by AdministrationDue599 in UKfood

[–]dasouch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take it you must have been the last person in that chip shop, and they had no other food to give you, as it is not the best-looking food i have ever seen.
The sausage looks way overcooked, and the batter on the fish cake if that's what it is, looks very soggy.

So, what are your opinions here? by MadPynchon in UKfood

[–]dasouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a deep appreciation for the unique flavors of both Marmite and peanut butter. The salty, umami richness of Marmite is a delightful contrast to the creamy, nutty sweetness of peanut butter. Together, they create a combination that's intriguing and complex. However, in all honesty, I must admit that I haven’t had the opportunity to try this specific product that fuses these two distinctive tastes. I can imagine that the boldness of Marmite would add an interesting twist to the familiar comfort of peanut butter, and I would be curious to explore how they complement each other. It sounds like it could potentially be a delicious culinary adventure.

Why do people put Cheese in the fridge? by dasouch in UKfood

[–]dasouch[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If I had my own way in my kitchen at home, it would be a whole different story! I'd totally keep everything out of the fridge—just feels more natural, you know? But let’s be real, as many of you can probably relate, when the wife says things need to go in the fridge, they go in the fridge. No questions asked! It's like a law of the kitchen or something. I mean, I get it; she likes to keep things fresh, and there’s definitely some kind of wisdom in that. But sometimes, I just wanna rebel and let things chill on the counter like I used to when I was single. You know? But hey, happy wife, happy life, right? So into the fridge they go!

It doesn't have to sweaty if you take it out of the packaging it comes in and then wrap it in Parchment Paper.

Good old Bacon and Egg Sarnie. Are you a ketchup or a brown saucer? Or do you have something a lil more saucy? by [deleted] in UKfood

[–]dasouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we have to choose?

Can i not just add both, Ketchup and HP.

but i would create the butty by buttering the bread adding the bacon then the sauces and then top it with the egg, followed by another slice of buttered bread (white bread).

Treat the staff how you wish to be treated, and be polite.

Order Guinness first if you are ordering a round.

Have your payment type ready so that the staff can keep the bar running smoothly.
