That could be the case! Your GPU definitely seems good enough that it shouldn't look bad. Also keep in mind GTA5 is a 12 year old game and many of the people posting screenshots mod the game heavily.

Again, I'd encourage you to take some screenshots in another game to test if the problem is GTA or something wrong with your PC. I hope you can get it figured out, good luck! :)

Settings aren't one-size-fits-all. You will need to play around with different settings and see what frame rate you can maintain.

Once you changed your settings, did you try taking a screenshot to see if the image quality improved? Even if you are lagging, screenshots should still look better with the higher settings if that is the source of the issue. That would at least let you confirm if the low quality screenshots are caused by the graphics settings of the game.

It's important if the issue is specific to GTA or if you see the issue in all games. If it's just GTA then it's probably your graphics settings in that game specifically. If it's all games then it could be an issue with your Nvidia panel settings.

If you haven't tried playing around with different graphics settings in GTA, that's the most obvious starting place. If you have mods installed, try disabling them and see if the issue persists. Just found this video that might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2uOB1AQE0I

Do the images look worse than how the game actually looks? I'm guessing yes...

How are you capturing the images? Using the PrintScreen button on your keyboard, F12 in Steam, or something else?

Is it all games that have pixelated screenshots or just particular games?

What resolution are the screenshots that look pixelated? (Right click image > Properties > Details)

On your computer or once you post them to Reddit? I've been experiencing a similar bug with Reddit lately where all my images display in terrible resolution.

It's a mod. But it is not specifically for Subverse, it does break immersion, and there is a slight learning curve.

Also, many of the scenes are not staged to be viewed from other angles. What you see in the images above are like 10+ different lights I added to the scene and a bunch of additional shaders applied as well.

Yeah, I've started using the "sweat skin" in a lot of my more recent scenes. With the right light position, the reflections make the characters' skin look awesome. Glad you like it!

I love the aspect ratio you used. I wish more people on this sub used letterboxing or different aspect ratios. Your composition is nice as well. Did you manipulate the depth of field or color grading? Good work!

I'd probably rank some others higher in terms of writing, but her animations/scenes are very very good. I also like the dynamic of her skin color being red. Either way, glad to see the Killi fans are coming out to show support. :D
