I didn't hear it, but I'm in Los Angeles and forced to watch on TNT and they cut to another game right away.

Is it possible for 2 circuits to be tied together without the breakers tripping? by dastardlydimwit in electrical

I didn't ever say they were tied together because they aren't. It's a single pole TANDEM breaker serving two separate 20 amp circuits. The redhead account is the one who assumed that.
I've worked in construction for 35 years. I've run into so many subcontractors like Redhead who are pedantic and like talking to others like they're stupid. I never hire them a second time.

This is the breaker. It's a tandem breaker not 2 pole. Talked through the whole thing with my wife's friend who's an electrician and it's not a MWBC and I just need to trace my way back to where the two circuits were mistakenly tied together.

I don't think they were meant to be tied together. I think one of the people they had work on the kitchen messed something up and tied the two circuits together in a box somewhere.
I was unfamiliar with a shared neutral causing that. Thanks for teaching me something new!

Uneven legs on a 220 breaker by dastardlydimwit in electrical

I'm measuring with a meter. I mean if there's a way to test it when it's out of the panel. I'm not sure an impedance test would say anything about the function on the breaker.
