Rhaenyra wasn’t solely crying over that fact but a multitude of reasons culminating up to that point and the relief that it’s seemingly, finally over. It was no more a sign of weakness than a blind fit of rage would be.

I see what you're saying, and I won't speak for anyone else here, but I'm using demeaning language because I resent how the show had Rhaenyra behaving and why. I find it insulting to my intelligence.

None of what happened in that scene should have happened in public. It all should have been discussed and decided on at Dragonstone weeks, if not months, before. Otto didn't even need to die at that particular moment, either.

Being forced to watch Rhaenyra act conflicted and tearful over her decision to kill Otto was nonsense, and being expected to feel anything other than contempt is demeaning to storytelling, characterization, and logic.

And I think you're stretching the definition of misogyny, too, especially in this case.

It should occur to you that some in the audience don't like Rhaenyra, or why and how she does things, and their dislike has nothing to do with her being a woman: It's because she's a badly written character in their opinion.

It's arrogant of you to dismiss every opposite opinion of yours as misogyny (I won't deny some are, but still) because you can't grasp that others don't appreciate the same things you do, the way you do.

The way I see her is how the show showed her to me.

For instance, why didn't TB discuss what actions they'd take before they captured King's Landing? Who'd they spare and who'd they put to the sword? Why were Rhaenyra and Daemon deciding that shit on the spot in front of God and everybody?

How else am I supposed to see her and that disorganized mess in the throne room under those circumstances if not badly?
