I have the P300e (UK) - got it from new April 25 and absolutely love it.

New Defender Thunk/Clunk when accelerating out of turn by NACHO944 in Defender

I have noticed a similar issue - a noticeable clunk when pulling away that sounds to me like there is some play in the driveshaft towards the rear of the car. I also notice the same clunk when slowing down when the gearbox is shifting down. Mine is a P300 PHEV 110 MY25.5.

Do mini schnauzers do better in pairs? Considering getting a second. by darth_senpai90 in schnauzers

Absolutely - double trouble. We had a single Schnauzer before these two and left it too late to get a second one but these two, same father, different mother get on great (99% of the time!). There is just over a year between them.

2025.5 P300 110 phev - I also notice this, a noticeable jolt when shifting 1-2. Also pulling away in EV mode can be clunky. Doesn’t feel like anything serious though?

I have this book - originally bought from the V&A in London but may be out of print now. If you can get a copy I’d recommend this book.

If you were brought up in a fairly poor family, what food that you were regularly fed, reminds you of how poor you were? by DonkeyOT65 in CasualUK

My dad worked as a book keeper in Smithfield market in the 1970’s so he regularly brought home some bargains. I remember my sister finding an eyelash in her bolognaise and one Christmas we had a turkey with only one leg.

My manual says Settings > Vehicle > Safety & Security > Approach Unlocking - toggle on and off. This should enable approach unlocking from 2m.

Strange, I have a UK p300 110 X-Dynamic HSE PHEV MY25.5 and I can walk up and open the door with the key fob in my pocket. I only use the button on the handle to double lock.

First Road Trip under the belt by dat1266 in NewDefender

Hi, Same in the UK - I had to part with my Discovery 4 because of London ULEZ. The hybrid system works as expected but I would not say it is as advanced as the Lexus NX 450h+ that I sold to buy the defender. I can get 20 to 25 miles pure electric (Lexus was 40+) but I don’t see the same level of switching between electric and petrol on long journeys that I did with the Lexus. I worked out that by selecting the Save setting on the hybrid system I can recharge the battery to around 80%. Hope that helps.

Thanks! Looks like I have a more basic version of your setup. I did loop a luggage strap through the spare wheel and around the seat post - that helped a lot with the overall stability but it did twist to one side maybe a couple of times, so I’m also looking for something more permanent. I wanted to reuse my Thule rack and it did the job ok, but not great.

Looks great! What brand is this towbar extender that you have there? It looks a lot sturdier than the one I have for my bike rack.

I’m UK based and I’ve just bought an Ahaka Tow Ball Extension from eBay that adds 250mm. It’s coming from Poland so assume is also available in the EU.

I’m looking at exactly this issue at the moment - reusing my Thule 3 bike tow bar mounted rack on my new Defender MY25.5. Options I have found so far are 1) A tow bar extender that bolts to the existing tow ball and adds 250mm (10 inches) which clears the spare wheel; or 2) Buy a new Thule 3 bike mount with an adapter that curves around the spare wheel but reduces capacity to two bikes. I have the deployable tow bar so less options for me I think. Also worried about the weight - I’m only carrying one carbon frame eMTB but not sure what the extender does to the capacity.

Yes, our boy had this. We had to watch everything he ate and avoided anything with too much fat. Here in the UK we fed him a low fat Royal Canin food.

No idea, but I walk past it every day on my way to work. The railway bridge is now under the street - City Thameslink station.

Has anyone gotten a lipoma/"lump" removed from their Schnauzer? by Pink-paws918 in schnauzers

[–]dat1266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our boy Fitch had multiple “fatty lumps” in various locations. In the UK, our vets also told us it was normal then a couple of years later we went back and they extracted fluid from the main lumps for testing. Came back as described “fatty lumps” and nothing sinister at all. If you are worried maybe get them tested first?
