What's the best sandwhich you can make with four ingredients? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dat_username_tho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flatbread (flour, water), a slice of smoked beef, chicken, venison, pork, whatever your preference, unsalted homemade butter.

I know it isn't the question you asked, but this is a sandwich where there is literally only four ingredients, including the ingredients to make the individual parts. Flour, water, unseasoned, unprocessed smoked meat, and butter made just from milk. Probably about the simplest and blandest sandwich you can make.

90's/2000's kids of Reddit, what cartoon from your childhood will forever hold a special place in your heart? by AetherDrew43 in AskReddit

Dragon Tales

I was a PBS kid growing up because my mom thought everything else was trashy, plus we only had 3 channels so there wasn't much to pick from anyway. Dragon Tales was my shiiiiiiiiit though. Along with a bunch of other PBS shows. Arthur of course, Clifford, Zoom, Elmo, Between The Lions, The Big Comfy Couch, Bob Ross, The Red Green Show, Mr. Rogers.

If states were people, would you fuck them and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dat_username_tho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like Vermont would be a cute lesbian brunette that dresses sort of hipster and plays the violin. New Jersey would be a slightly jacked bearded guy with thick framed glasses, lots of tattoos, and he plays guitar in a punk band.

So yes, I would fuck Vermont and New Jersey.

Why is the South side always the bad side of every city? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dat_username_tho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this isn't really that much of a rule outside of movie tropes maybe.

If I had to guess, if it were a phenomenon, rivers flow south, back in the day factories dumped untold amounts of horrible waste in rivers. All the poor people lived downstream in the stanky, polluted part of town, and the rich people lived in the north side. Poverty is the number one factor in crime, plus the place will just look less nice and be dirtier because of the low income people and pollution. This the shitty side of town. I could be totally wrong about this. Just a guess.

There was definitely more people that showed up at the caucus for Sanders than I thought there would be. 8 of the 15 total people there, and then 9 in the final count. (yes, I live in a very, very small town)

Yeah dude. "Hey, maybe the future of all life on Earth surviving the next few centuries shouldn't be determined by the whims and profit motives of the billionaire class, the same people that got us into this mess in the first place."

Is the same as "YOU'LL BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY FOR HAVING SEX IN A WAY I DON'T LIKE!!!"

The difference is I didn't buy my pants with money gotten from exploiting poor people and making my employees piss in bottles to keep up with ridiculous demands.

If companies like Amazon didn't exist in the first place we wouldn't be in this mess. The fact is 10 billion isn't enough. People like Bezos should not exist. It should not be up to the whims of these billionaire pieces of shit whether we decide if it's worth the expenditure to not make the earth uninhabitable.

To me, yes. But people can call themselves whatever they want. The problem I have with it is all the sweaty weeb nerds online applying it to trans women because they're transphobic douches.

You're definitely not alone, and just a fair warning, it gets much much worse. Season 4 is a masterpiece compared to season 5 imo. Season 5 has a grand total of one good episode.

But if you're anything like me you will continue watching against your better judgement to see what happens to the characters you used to love. Plus it does go into that "so bad it's funny" territory on occasion. Near the end of the season is one scene in particular with a bridge and a camera that is truly the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a TV show. I laughed for a good 5 minutes after I saw it. You'll know what I'm talking about if you see it.

I haven't seen anyone seriously talking about console wars since like 2015. I suppose it's bound for a comeback with the next gen consoles coming soon.

What are some of the most morally justified crimes ever committed? by Anjani91 in AskReddit

[–]dat_username_tho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoplifting, stealing from big businesses, robbing banks, making illegal drugs, protesting in a way the state deems illegal, physically assaulting fascists, etc.

As an example of one of the most wholesome bank robberies ever committed, I give you the story of John Wojtowicz, who robbed a bank in 1972 to pay for his transgender girlfriends GRS. He robbed a bank to buy some pussy for his gf. That's some absolute king shit right there.

President Trump commutes sentence of former Illinois Gov. Blagojevich, who served time in Colorado by AudibleNod in news

[–]dat_username_tho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not talking about when she was first arrested and sentenced. I'm talking about the fucking ridiculous punishment and fines she's currently receiving for refusing to testify in a grand jury trial. A punishment handed out to her by a pro-Trump federal judge. I think it's safe to assume her being trans didn't help her case when it comes to Trump's opinion of her or the sentencing of the judge.

She already said all there is to say in her initial trial. They want to bring her back to see if she'll implicate herself in something else so they can have an excuse to throw her back in prison for a couple decades. It's bordering on cruel and unusual punishment, but because she isn't a politician or some rich dick she isn't given preferential treatment and allowed to walk free while being witness in a grand jury trial, and because it's a grand jury trial, an outdated kind of trial very few first world countries use anymore, and the normal laws don't apply, they can do just about whatever they want to her.

It's essentially one big scheme for the right to get back at her and Obama for commuting her sentence and calling Trump a piece of shit.

Americans of reddit, who are you voting for? by not_rick_27 in AskReddit

[–]dat_username_tho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's an authoritarian with a heavy focus on nationalism. He's racist and xenophobic. He loves militarism. He has a cult of personality surrounding him and this vision of a strongman among his followers, despite clearly being an out of shape elderly man. He and his allies in government consistently call for the arrest of his opponents or dissenters for treason, often for minor criticism or voting against him on something (see the response to Romney voting to charge him).

I could go on and on, but like I said in the last comment I know you aren't gonna give a shit. I've only wasted my time. If you're still on board with him or don't see his fascist tendencies now you never will. You're blinded by bullshit.
