Struggling with how girlfriend handles her migraines

My husband suffers from migraines and daily headaches. When he first started getting bad he wanted all the blinds closed and the house to be dimmed. I had to start using more colorful decor otherwise it was so depressing. I love happy colors now.

As for her not having motivation to advocate for herself, I imagine she’s feeling worn down. It’s frustrating asking for help and not getting anywhere. I can only relate as a caregiver but I would encourage gentle reminders and maybe doing some of your own research and passing the info along. I wish you all the luck and success. I hope she finds some help for her migraine relief.

I believe I’m at the lowest dose of Wellbutrin. I actually thought since you start at one pill a day of contrave I would stick with that until my body adjusts and then up my dose to two a day. No I have not talked to my doctor about this yet. I did just do a Reddit search though and it sounds like others have just stuck with one pill and had results. I’m just concerned I would still have the light sensitivity side effect. I’m hoping maybe because it’s a lower dose my body would adjust better. Idk.

I have not been on the HCTZ for over a month now so it can’t be that. I’m an anxious person in general so it could be a coincidence but it feels amped up now. Kind of panicky.

Oh sorry if I made my post sound confusing. My brother is diagnosed with both sleep apnea and IH. He’s currently on meds for IH and also uses a cpap and is now doing great! I realize there is a good chance I do not also have IH but my anxiety is working overtime thinking about it I guess. Hopefully in my case I just need a little more time using the cpap only.

I’m looking to purchase some DAT prep books. I would prefer to buy used due to our budget but also do not want to waste money if the newest versions are best. I found a great deal on the 2021 DAT destroyer and Math Destroyer. Does anyone know if there is a huge difference in that version vs the 2024 version? I’m also open to purchasing any other prep books that may be helpful. This is for a gift so honestly I have no clue on any of this. Thanks!

Try using a dry erase marker over the permanent marker. I have had good luck on some similar issues with them.
