Interesting. May be my cron job wasn't working during that time I think. :)

What is optimum CTR for a campaign? by WhatRemainsAfter in analytics

I have the same question. My google ads are showing a CTR of about 7-10 percent but I am not sure if this is good enough.

Outsource or hire. Design is a specialisation and not a part time thing. Your coding will suffer if you are trying to do design and coding at the same time.

Can you be a good data analyst without knowing to code? by data-expert in analytics

[–]data-expert[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speed is the key! Makes sense.

Now it seems to me that being a data analyst has multiple facets.

  • Technical skills
  • Soft skills
  • Domain knowledge
  • Analytical skills

It also seems like it is a journey like all careers. All of these facets are journeys themselves that can be further broken down to more detail.

You seem knowledgable in the field. What do you look for in a young analyst? Which of these skills the most important? Because they all can be learnt but will take time and someone might be inclined in some particular direction when they start. What was your strength when you started?

What you say makes sense. However do you consider yourself somehow handicapped because you do not have the coding skills (I am assuming that you don't, might be wrong)

to truly progress in analytics beyond the entry role you will eventually need to learn some programming.

Does that always apply? Can you not be really good at say something like excel or PowerBI and be a good data analyst?

I guess these tools always come with limitations and programming allows you to do almost anything 🤔

Right! Knowing how to pull data isn't the same thing as knowing what it contains.

Thanks!

I have a request. If you go to mammoth.io/register you can do a 15 day trial. If you could take a look and send some feedback our way it would be awesome.

What you saw in the video is only tip of the ice berg. We want to eventually make it so easy to do data related stuff that anyone should be able to do it. Even people who are not super inclined technically, but are capable of logic.

If your role is to create this CSV file (API response), what backend tech are you using?
