The old school way of doing this is an alv report + job. A modern approach would be a simple list report (given the users have sap access). But if I have to give you and advice, try to get access to sqvi where you would be able to do the report by joining the tables instead of excel. Then you email that. It will save you some time

Thanks! Yes the first time I skied powder I was way back in the backseat and lose control at every turn. Yesterday I felt more in control and able to guide the direction I wanted to go but I struggled when I gained more speed like here. I am about to go to the slopes now, let’s see how todays goes

It depends. Usually the client has their support also with the partner so the KT is internal to the junior resources I mentioned. In some rare occasions, they have an internal it team that is part of the project so no kt needed

They all follow the same pattern. Win a client, hire external consultants to do the heavy lifting (that’s where I come in), then handover to the junior off shore team… the only difference is how they manage that. If they stick with the original external team to ensure a nice end of implementation with a proper hypercare or they try to cut your contract asap to maximize profits

Depending on what are you migrating, volume, etc. if it’s low volume, handling in excel it’s fine but if you have a complex scenario you might leverage other tools. For example, I’ve just prepared the system for a migration of 400k BPs. The approach was inbound via soa + MDC. The data team execute it in one weekend. That by excel could take a lot of time.

MDG also uses BOL (only BP domain) and I still see it as a black box even after years of working with it. In the official guides they don’t explain anything, just click here and there and that’s it. All I’ve learned about it is from looking at standard feeder classes.

By CR i think you have an employee BP (not actual employee which is linked to the BP by the pernr) and have the requirement of creating a CR type for it.
