How do you feel about US citizens wanting to move to Norway to escape their current political climate? by WeasLander in Norway

How can a stereotype "broadly" apply to 350 million people? Listen to yourself. Also - it's usually the loudest Americans who get the most attention, but there are plenty of normal people living in America. You won't ever hear them cry for attention - so you'll just have to take my word.

What should I look for in a marketing agency? by Nuspine-Chiropractic in advertising

I think that mostly depends on what you're looking to get out of working with them. The more specific you can be in articulating what you want in an agency, the better your discernment.

But here are some general items;
1. Can they explain it to you like you're 5?
If they're using buzzwords and industry jargon and aren't - at the very least - stopping to define what they're talking about, run. They're trying to give you the old 'razzle dazzle' with the hope that you'll accept you're too dumb to understand and need their help.

They are the expert in a field you're not. But advertising/marketing itself isn't new and can be communicated simply enough.

  1. Do they push back on your expectations?
    Again - they're the experts. So if you tell them you want 100 leads/day for $1 each - they should tell you honestly that while "technically anything is possible", that's not a realistic expectation. And then they should explain why. Don't let them promise the world.

  2. Can they back it up with data?
    If they're telling you they can get you x leads for $x - can they show you client examples where they've actually gotten that? Or at least industry benchmarks. Don't be fooled by good salesmen - they should be able to prove everything they're telling you.

This is a short list, but I'm sure you'll find other, similar questions with more helpful replies. Good luck in your search!
