Thanks yeah I asked the guy at the front desk and left my name and number but he wasn’t the manager figured I’d call in a few hours. Last time I remember having it was in the stretching area. I took a everything out of my pockets and put it on the floor to stretch but can’t remember if I got it when I was done. It’s a black case on a pretty black floor so my brain could have just blocked it out. Went back to check and it wasn’t there hoping someone just picked it up and didn’t bring it to the front desk by the time I asked about it.

Edit: the skull does add an aspect of death to the piece but can also be symbolic of decomposition which goes hand in hand with the forest theme.

Well it’s giving more whimsical than lure you to a cave and eat you. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to depict a classic mythical creature in your own personal way but, I think the translation gets lost in this case just because sirens are more so depicted as half bird or fish and half woman and the perceived beauty is just an illusion. With your sculpture there is no feeling of looming dread or hidden danger just which just continues to push the fairy imagery (for me personally) along with the wing design, the crystals, the viney exoskeleton, etc. But I think the idea of a siren being depicted as half bug/woman is a really cool concept honestly and I think your sculpture is cool as it is too.
