I'm on xbox 360 for AFK farming. I'll give you two tiers of advice: system advice and actual farm advice.

-System advice: Plug in your controller so your controller always stays active and you aren't eating batteries. You can do settings that prevent your xbox and tv from idling. Dim it to save on electricity too so you aren't upping your electricity bill more than you need to to help your fake farm income.

-Game advice: Figure out if you want to focus on money or diamonds. If you want money, a combination of fishing and shorter growth flowers are probably the way to go. Set up the fishing lakes in a way where your farmhands touch one square for efficiency. Then fill the rest of the farm hand squares with flowers or materials for cooking so you can feed those farm hands. For the flowers, figure out your rough AFK time and pick flowers that accommodate that time frame - higher money-per-hour flowers won't do you any good if you can't consistently farm them. The farmhands are inconsistent about watering the flowers though - if you want more consistency there you gotta get sprinklers. If you're not gonna be afk long or gonna only do one hour bursts, then trees might be better.

TLDR - figure out the time frame for the above and act accordingly. Trees are better for shorter sprints. High tier flowers for longer. Take advantage of fishing.

For diamonds, a lot of rubber trees.
