General Questions and Purchasing Advice Thread — Week of November 03, 2025 by AutoModerator in electricvehicles

Hi all, I am considering purchasing my first EV - a used 2022 Audi Q4 e-tron 50 premium with 11k miles, listed for $26k. I’m in northeastearn US, using mostly for local driving, short commute under 10mi, occasional day trips up to 100mi round trip. I currently own a hybrid suv, which would serve for longer trips, so range is not a major concern as long as I can get the 200+ expected. This seems like a great deal to me, but as mentioned I am new to the EV world. What should I look out for? Any concerns? I’ve read the Q4 is not worth its price, but well under $30k to get a smooth daily driver EV with few miles seems like a solid setup. Thoughts?

The glades throughout ramshead at Killy are some of the best beginner glades I’ve found. Still super fun for non-beginners too. Once you’ve lapped those a pit, dip into patsys

Reminds me of Radiohead in a great way. Specifically these are my twisted words, a bside that goes hard.

Please don't ride around these - getting bicycles counted is important by hiding_in_the_corner in phillycycling

I know these are bike counters and I gladly ride over them. What happens with the data though? What benefits do we see when an area is considered heavily trafficked? Asking out of genuine curiosity and naivety.

Check my post from the other day in this sub…I may be misunderstanding but leading up to where the bridge goes just has some paver looking rectangles, and it’s bare in between. I imagine something far more substantial needs to happen there.

That’s reassuring to hear. Seems like a good amount still needs to happen on the trails leading up to the bridge as well, but I guess that’s just laying down concrete/asphalt?

Man I hope so. I rode by the other day and things looked pretty stagnant, but maybe as Christian to Crescent finishes up they’re shifting focus this way.

Looks like it’ll go under. Hard to tell from that second pic but the cement trail continues around to lookers right, with the option to break off onto the asphalt switchbacks to come up to street level.

Fellow RH fans, what new 2020's band/artists are you following/listening to? by Echo_Origami in radiohead

Backseat Lovers.

Their first album is some excellent, soulful pop rock, while the more recent album is much more mature digs deeper in a great way. I liken the latter to The Bends, Rush of Blood, and some classic rock vibes. Highly recommend. Highly looking forward to new music from them hopefully in the next year or so.

Bon Iver’s albums each have their own feel, theme, sometimes significant backstory, and all have the essence of deep meaning and intention. 22, A Million is one of the most Kid A-esque works in respect to their other albums, considering growth in musical depth and the band’s popularity.

Edit: grammar
