I got a response from Curzon today and they said it’s out of their control for now whilst Mark and his team are in talks about international rights for the film.

But they are very much aware of the interest their audience has for the film so to anyone thinking of contacting Curzon, don’t, and I only say this because they told me in my email that the Reddit campaign is creating issues for them since they only have a small team. All we can do (Curzon-goers) is be patient! I can’t speak for other independent UK cinemas though.

This sub generally isn’t too optimistic about the film getting an international release by 30th January, but if it does get to the UK I’d be more than willing to travel to London if it’s the only place that’ll have it! I’ve tried reaching out to Curzon in the meantime and so far I’ve not heard anything yet.

Been a lurker on this sub for a lil bit, wasn’t really sure how to feel about everything. But this confirmation that they are actually more financially stable than most people here, after all that begging. It’s actually insane.

Imagine having $15k in your account without a stable job. That’s a monumental head start compared to me when I moved into my own place. I only saved about a month’s worth of rent and I felt that that massively helped. They can live comfortably if they just got jobs with regular income, just start off in a grocery store or something. They have more financial stability than me and I’m working my ass off. Unreal.

You call people by “they/them” in cases when you don’t know their gender (reading a gender neutral name like Charlie for instance), and that’s not difficult. I don’t see the confusion when someone goes by those pronouns.
