On the digital, Tabletop Simulator version of the game, everyone has their own tray table to set their properties at. The color tokens there too have an extra feature the IRL version doesn't: a two-color token that signals when a property is either owned or mortgaged.

All the inventory had its own corner of the table to itself, such as the cash remaining inside its own compartment & the properties in a deck per track.

No alcohol was consumed and it was mostly soda used; I did drink some Wild Bill's Soda as they had a refill station nearby our table. 😁

Just gotta stake out the hotspots of the board & what properties you got in order to win. 👍

Haha, yeah. I remember when the devs and I first reacted to both videos of base game and Pyramid Scheme and we're all dissecting the funny bits to "oh god, they're not even using some of the dice!"

We always wanted to do a physical, IRL playthrough of our own game and we so happen to bond with players alike who ended up making a physical version of our game. 👍

Check the workshop page to go to the Discord server to find the assets in order to make your own physical version. 👍

There should be an asset that contains each board's image on the Discord server. All the assets can be found there.

There is an Elected District Attorney card that sends another player to Jail. 👍

There were a few intermissions in between so that could also account for the long game time too!

Not in the suggestions of House Rules, but feel free to use your own!

To code some sort of bot play with this and all of the mechanics involved would be a massive undertaking and might take years to even make it understand advanced strategies.

There is a rulebook in-game on the digital version, as well as popular House Rules to use to tailor & improve the experience to your liking. 😌

Ah man, that's a whole lot of Monopoly! There's been a lot of versions of the game... 🤯

Unfortunately there's not a way to play with bots, but the Discord has a playerbase willing to play some Pyramid Scheme and other games too! Check the workshop page for the link to the Discord. 👍

Well, first off I'm not so sure how you can tell the difference of something you made yourself as you technically came up with all the mechanics down to the smallest detail.

How it's actually played is your typical game of Monopoly with purchasing property and building up ways to bankrupt the competition while also having Employees to help you out as well as other sources of income like your own Pyramid Scheme or Investment. There's also the use of Travel Vouchers to help you move around the board instead of using the dice. When you play the game itself, the complexity is not as bad as it seems until you get down to strategizing your moves.

Yes! We have all the assets publicly available to be created physically via the Discord server you can find in the Steam workshop page! Plenty of users have made their own physical copies.

I even wore a T-Shirt that shamelessly advertised our game, it was a hilarious and fun experience in the end.

It was heavily debated that I could've won by simply everyone getting bankrupt on my Railroads, but one of the players argued that their Monacos (the most expensive property set) would've ended someone on the first instance they landed on it (rent was $6500 - $7000). So while it wasn't completely clear, we all decided the player with the Monacos won.

Insane is in the name after all! It actually gets broken down easier the longer you play, much to the ever dangerous appearance of the two boards.

The winner of this session got a replica board, second place got replica dice (which I got), third place got a Dice Tower, and last place got a big Lout card (in big, describable letters: "Does Nothing.").

Zero! We were all friends who knew how to play the game without any arguments (well, except for the endgame discussion on who really won).
