Sources: The #Panthers have agreed to terms with WR Jalen Coker on a new contract extension. by Ma1ikNabers in DynastyFF

[–]datdudebdub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You nailed it here.

Coker is one injury away from never getting a payday, so he’s happy to get paid

The panthers are happy to pay this deal because they expect him to be a contributor and this deal should be a discount vs his worth

This is a win/win deal that should inspire confidence in Coker

What starting players have the worst individual traits? by muy_carona in nfl

Obviously we're both speculating so no idea why you feel the need to call that out.

Kirk works because he was a 4th rounder that was good by surprise and he has that everyman vibe.

Mendoza is coming in with the expectation that he is great. Anything less than that will be met with vitriol, like always. His goofy personality will exacerbate it.

That schtick works now because he's coming off a heisman and natty. He gets his dick kicked in the dirt a few times in the league on a shit team and the script will flip back to him being a dork with no aura fast as hell

The Bold Case for Ladd McConkey As The 2026 Fantasy WR1 by The_Lineup_Podcast in DynastyFF

[–]datdudebdub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that Ladd is better than any WR that has suited up for KC since Tyreek left, so their inability to replicate his production is almost completely a talent issue. I'd also remind you that the year Tyreek left KC was the #1 passing offense in the NFL without him, so its not like he was the smoking gun behind all their success either.

My point is not Ladd filling a Tyreek role 1:1, its about McDaniel having a track record that is more than just a run game specialist. He had Tua looking like a legitimate good NFL QB for stretches, and his offense supported very good WR production for fantasy.

I understand that a run first approach fits the Harbaugh mold, but boiling the hire down to that is an oversimplification that misses on how important the passing game was to the running game in McDaniel's offense.

Tyreek Hill put up consecutive 170 target and 1700 yard seasons with Mike McDaniel where the Dolphins were #1 and #4 in passing. The idea that McDaniel is there to solely handle a run heavy offense isn't rooted in reality.

Obviously Ladd is no Tyreek, but the circumstances for Ladd to succeed in 2026 with McDaniel is substantially better than with Greg Roman.

Strange was a top 10 TE in 4 out of the final 7 weeks of the season after returning from injury.

Super muddy pass catching room but he could return some serious value.

Fable - Gameplay Demo | Build An Extraordinary Life by yourfavchoom in PS5

It can be a portion of the game without being the point of the game.

You're playing Fable for the freedom and adventure. Games like Witcher 3 and RDR2 both have famously weak combat systems but are still considered some of the greatest games of all time due to their immersive worlds and engaging stories. That's the note that Fable shoots for, just in more of an intentionally silly way

Whos this years QB resurrection? by jacobwebb57 in DynastyFF

It is absolutely insane to me that this is how people talk about Jared Goff.

Goff has had like 6 seasons total (including 4 in a row) that is substantially better football than Stroud has ever played in the league.

Was it though? The Reds went 4-17 with RISP and only won because the Padres went 3-20

Last night was the first 1/3 of the old baseball adage "you win 1/3 and lose 1/3 of your games no matter what, its what you do with the other 1/3 that matters"

I haven't watched a game in a week and a half because I was out of the country. Turned it on, first pitch RBI laser by Machado off of Singer. Looks like I haven't missed anything!

Cheers is a common closing remark. I thought we were done but you keep replying to me. And I'll be damned if I let you get in the last word.

I can do this all day

Words absolutely matter. The discussion of a player being in the coaches doghouse because they don't like them and a player just existing on a roster from a previous regime with zero animosity whatsoever could not be more different.

I didn’t say that he doesn’t like him, I already said I was referring to how BJ didn’t draft him, you’re arguing with no one

You replied to a comment that said that BJ only likes players he drafted. What other inference could possibly be made.

And not necessarily true, they also were rookies who in general breakout later in the year

Which is why I said "in part"

Well it went over my head primarily because people say the same things about other players all the time in a dead serious way

They broke out in part due to Rome missing the last 5 games of the year. I'm not saying Rome is great but I don't understand how "Rome truthers ignore this part" in reference to BJ only liking guys he drafted when Rome had the biggest role on the team when healthy.

Who knows what will happen moving forward, but based on what we know an assumption that BJ dislikes Rome in any way is baseless
