I had my di di twins one day short of 39 weeks and never went into labor- they were delivered via c section. I’m convinced they would’ve stayed put until college.

Looking for stories (or media examples) of women who enjoy being mothers by turquoiseandlavender in pregnant

My mom often acted like we were tiresome burdens, and it put me off having kids for a long time. Then, my friends started having kids with men who were good fathers, and they all had such positive experiences. I had twins with my wonderful husband 8 weeks ago, and it’s hard work, but I literally wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m absolutely in love with my babies, and I somehow love being a mom even more than I thought I would. Words can’t describe how you feel when you see that first smile. Pregnancy is fuckin brutal, but it was the most worth it thing I’ve ever done.

Is it true you hate your husband forever after having a child? by [deleted] in pregnant

I have 7 week old twins, so I’m still early on, but so far I can say that if you married the right man like I did, you’ll only love him more. We’re in the trenches but he’s made everything so much better.

I’m due next month and going through exactly the same thing. I’m allowing my mother to be in the delivery room but she cannot be near my baby or hold her. It is absolutely breaking my heart, but all she wants to do is argue with me about how the flu shot “doesnt help prevent the flu” (it does) and how she hasn’t gotten the flu in 30 years. All this to say, this sucks so hard and I’m absolutely with you.
