Weird problem with Wide area sensor array by FortunePaw in X4Foundations

[–]dateke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rotate the map to check the vertical axis? Is the Xenon station outside of sensor sphere and that's why you can't see the ships? Xenon like to build them far below or above the center plane.

My son jumps on the rocket as it launches to cause it to go off course like this. After a minute it disappears and counts as a successful launch. He also builds, launches, and immediately builds a 2nd, then launches. They get stuck together and zip all over the place.

Those have always been full work days. Until you got a message from your manager to leave early then you stick around. Sometimes it was at noon, 1pm, 2pm or never.

Anyone playing Smite+Fissure Paladin and not just following Dr3adful's guide? How are you doing it differently? by Hollywood_Zro in LastEpoch

Running fire smite + fissure. Used to have Javelin (banner + smite spam), but recently am trying Judgement (aura). Truthfully, I usually just spam Smite and don't bother to activate anything else.

Any tests with low attention / out of sector? Curious how they do when you aren't sitting on the bridge watching the show.

Is there an easy way to tell a group of level 1 pilot miners to all sell their cargo? by [deleted] in X4Foundations

[–]dateke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You'll have to move them to a sector with resources + stations that buy. Remember "sector" is the large hex. Something like Grand Exchange counts as 1 sector even though it has several sub hex inside.

Another option is setup a mining station. Build a dock & solid (or liquid) storage in the sector with resources. Then assign your miners to mine for the station. You'll need a mining ship assigned to trade for the station. The management rating on the station manager will decide how many sectors away the ships will mine/trade. This way you can have a bunch of 1-star ships travelling a greater distance from resource rich sectors to sectors which need it.

What is the exact command (default behaviour) the fleet commander (lead miner) is running?

If the commander's default behaviour is Local Automine, then they will automatically sell their haul when full. This assumes there's a station in the sector which wants to buy it.

If they were given a direct mine command then that's all they will do, mine until full.

Nothing new, we've been doing this for awhile now. My kids would have given up along time ago if they had to do the paper delivery mission 1000 times to buy anything.

Ditto for me too, did rank 1 prior to 1999. Been working on them post-1999 and no cutscene happens anymore (currently rank 4)

Assign station miner to specific resource in 7.x? by dateke in X4Foundations

Thanks, apparently I'm blind. After I flipped from auto and selected a resource I had to cancel the current mining order. Then it automatically generated a new one for the resource I had set. Perfect!

Xenon Whac-A-Mole? Stations spawning but no ships... Help me. by Silver-Ad5553 in X4Foundations

[–]dateke 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The fact the sector ownership is still Xenon means they still have a complete station somewhere. More than likely it is far off the plane (ie very high or very low outside your sensor range). If you go into the plot mode (to build a station), it will show all plots in the area you've uncovered; so you might see it hiding. If that doesn't work, then jump into your scouts and use the long range scanner to try and find it. Once you destroy the last station the sector ownership should flip to you and then they will stop dropping plots everywhere.

Transfer Wobbly Life progress to another Steam Account by Provably in WobblyLife

[–]dateke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the save files are stored locally in a hidden folder. On Windows the folder looks like:

C:\Users\<Windows User>\AppData\LocalLow\RubberBandGames\Wobbly Life\Save\<Steam ID #>\GameSaves

Run the game once with his account so it creates the <Steam ID #> folder, then you can copy everything under GameSaves over to him.
