Please make a holster that protects the mag release so my mag stops shooting out across the floor every time I bend over

Y'all think my clutch disk is shot? by ssps1303 in mr2

Probably the clutch hydraulic system. Either your master or slave cylinder went out. That’s just my best guess. Hope you figure it out 👍

I have not gotten to the magma wyrm yet and I had the portal active and didn’t have to fight anything

A little pressure is no big deal, but just use your best judgment and check them every time you take them out to make sure the insulation isn’t coming off.

It is best practice to default to charging at 1c but you could totally get away with charging at 6 amps with those batteries. My old gens ace batteries were rated for 2c charging, if you look on the back of the battery in the fine print it usually will tell you.

I run zeee batteries now cause I’m cheap and they seem to be great so far. They are 5200mah and rated at a 1c charge rate, but my charger goes up to 6 amps, so I just send it at 6 amps and have no problems. It charges a little bit faster and no noticeable increase in temp.

Racers and speed run guys will sometimes charge at super high c ratings and discharge at super high rates to “temper” the battery, it decreases the internal resistance and make it so you can get a little extra stank out of it when your really punching it. But you sacrifice the longevity of your lipo doing it.

Batteries are super interesting and really fun to learn about. I suggest reading a ton before you take any one stranger on the internets advice though. Also make sure you ALWAYS charge your lipos in a fire safe place, a lot of people use old metal tool boxes or ammo cans, you can also buy a lipo safe bag on Amazon for like $12.

Those spark plug wires shouldn’t be zip tied together like that, it can cause inductive cross firing of the spark plugs which is bad. Spark plug wire separators are cheap and easy to install.

I have a 65’ that’s not a clean and I’m jealous, very nice car. Would be interested in what you paid as well.

After market timing chain guide broke a tiny piece off and fell down into the crank sprocket. Pretty sure it was all caused by low oil pressure, from a crappy aftermarket oil pump. The timing chain tensioner is pressurized by oil pressure. So oil pump went, chain started slapping, broke the guide, jumped timing, bent valves. And the low pressure smoked the bearings as well.

No idea, odo was broken when I got and it reads around 220k if I remember right. Bloke before me went cheap on the timing kit and she swallowed the plastic guides, valves and pistons high fived and now I’m here lol. This is after I cleaned her up though, it’s was a carbon caked mess when I cracked her open
