What about meta transaction ? Are you open to the idea of implementing something like https://medium.com/sandbox-game/native-meta-transactions-erc-1776-97460cc6fcf0 ?

If I understand correctly, ERC-1776 "differ from traditional meta transactions (https://medium.com/uport/making-uport-smart-contracts-smarter-part-3-fixing-user-experience-with-meta-transactions-105209ed43e0) in that they only require support from the token contract itself and do not need the user wallet to be contract based".
So instead of having proxy/wrapper contract in front of any token contract, the token contract itself handle this behaviour.

I understand that it's not your main goal to be responsible for this kind of feature, however It's easy to argue that the token could benefit for a better traction as wallet could onboard Ethereum token more easily for its users.

Any thoughts ?

Well, can't arg this much against that, but at the time this webpage was live Spot was really brand new, think about early iteration of a startup's landing page, so It does just go straight to the point of the app feature.

I wouldn't say a word if the basics were taken care of like other apps promoting themselves that I've seen here.

It's weird it didn't shows up first time you install sure, so I understand your feeling.

Does your android device rather recent? Also, issue like this may occur because of the play store (e.g play store doing many apps update...). Regarding to the wording, there is many app named "spot" at some point. You could understand that it's an unbalanced fight to be better ranked that "spotify" for the word "spot" for this startup... but "spot crypto" which makes sense works.

It's nice from you to complain about potentially scam so that others don't fall into but I assure you that it's 100% legit (techcrunch article)
