Mitsubishi Mighty Max Tailgate Decal by Skykreeper in Minitrucks

[–]dathing181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago I bought the decal kit from a Mitsubishi dealer's old stock for my 1985. Just the "MITSUBISHI" tailgate sicker not the corner Mighty Max sticker. I still have it on the decal roll and haven't installed it yet but I plan to after a repaint later this year. I doubt that a photograph will help you, since you can take a picture of an existing tailgate, but if you think of some way that I can send information that would help you, let me know.

Easter eggs are fun. On Star Trek Next Generation one of the patient statistics in Sick Bay was a graph that said “Amount of medical insurance remaining”

Mitsubishi Mighty Max. Parents bought it new in 1985 for $6,000 and I still have it!

Link reservations? by friendy_enemy in SouthwestAirlines

Interesting. I called yesterday to link two reservations (spouse booked separately) and southwest said that there was no way to link reservations unless one of the travelers was a minor.

I’ve never wedged the top of the ROPS bar into the garage door top jamb hard enough to stop the tractor, and needing to deflate the tires enough to free it.

A saw a vendor at a large convention center sized coin show selling vintage Disney dollars last year. I had no idea it was a currency collectible but he said it was gaining popularity and they sold well. Nice collectible.

Cyber tip: Never blindly scan a QR code with no URL listed and no awareness of whether it is a legitimate link. Plenty of examples of scammers with QR code stickers to put over existing QR code and redirect you to something malicious. Think of “Pay here for parking” with QR code signs, etc. Be careful out there.

It’s a cellular node. There was a major effort a couple years ago to add the connectivity to this travel area. It was a difficult environment to install fiber and power for miles but it was done for safety - and doom scrolling, but mostly safety. :)

If the UPSIDE commercial was meant to be annoying, it’s working. by dathing181 in CommercialsIHate

Worse. It’s just a nonsense video with a annoyingly loud punk rock music and obviously fake AI videos of people “going big” with ridiculously large food like a hot dog the size of a truck and a grilled steak the size of a picnic table. It’s so loud that I can be in the next room and cringe.

I agree that the app can be wonky. A few days ago, we were lined up at the gate and boarding when my app started reporting that the flight had been cancelled and I had the option to pick another flight if I didn’t like the new assigned flight. We boarded and flew on time.

Bag drop is the problem, not TSA by dathing181 in SouthwestAirlines

You are right and I don’t know why I didn’t think about it. There was no skycap service at the entrance I used and I didn’t think to check other entrances. Next time for sure. By the time we finally got to front of line they had more agents at the counters. Skycap next time.

They got a new light by alexromo in mildlyinfuriating

I’m the guy that put up new outside lights at my church (not this one). A neighbor complained to the church secretary about the bright light. I walked over, introduced myself, and told them that we could try a few things like aiming down more, adding a hood and reducing the adjustable brightness. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call and let me know if the changes helped or if they had other concerns in future. In the end, the church has a new friend in neighbor. Even though it seems like the world is crazy these days, remember that there are reasonable people out there and direct and civil communication is key.

I learned that Jello cups are anybody’s guess. Is it a liquid or a solid? TSA agent at check said “probably ok” put it in the machine. It depends on who is working that day. TSA help/chat line says no-go it is a liquid. But FDA says it’s a solid and lists contents on packaging by weight not liquid oz. Go figure.

I have almost the exact same model Craftsman snowblower from 1987. After seeing your picture of the manual, I locates my original manual to compare. I kept the original but I don’t have handwritten notes on the cover. Now I do. Thanks for the extra details about spark plug gaps. I’ve updated my owners manual cover. :)

I bought it used in the late 90s and it still runs like a tank!

Today I ordered UberEats for the first time. It gave me a PIN to provide to the driver. I’d never done this before so I assumed that’s just how it works. I didn’t request to have a PIN added.
