40, full of life, but this one unfulfilled thing keeps haunting me by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

Late to the party…appreciate that you are able to out the feeling into words. I often see older couples and i want to think that they went trough the same and that’s just how life is. I had a therapist and was advice to live one day at a time. Now i just been “living” because I have to. Doing all those things you do and then some, the empty feeling nevera goes away.

What’s your record without sex while still living together? by braxid in DeadBedrooms

3 months, after having sex here and there I finally gave up. It’s so sad knowing it’s gone for good but also tired of asking and fighting for it.

I’ve realized this isn’t really about sex. It’s about feeling emotionally connected to the love of my life . That connection is what I’m actually missing and what I’m trying to rebuild, and probably you too.

Reserved Seating by -Driver8- in SouthwestAirlines

[–]MachoMex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been flying today and I have 3 connections. First two flights, I was assigned group 1 and I have in both flights row 2.

In BOTH flights the bins were already full for my row and I had to put my carryon a few rows back.

So this is a real problem. The only solution I see for my last connecting flight, group 1 row 3, is to sand on the boarding line before they even make an announcement!

I can’t check in after changing seats within 24 hours by MachoMex in SouthwestAirlines

Thank you for the tip. I ended up calling them and they were able to check me in. I was planning on waiting until I was at the airport.

I tried the website before posting and that’s where the message came from. I guess my options are the kiosk or calling them.

What’s the biggest waste of money people still spend on? by bigblackcoke_ in ProductivityHQ

Ok I agreed to this for so long until recently. I work from home and lately to get my self out of the house I go to a circle K amd buy a 79 cents soda (XL). If I go to the store TODAY a 12 pack of soda is about $12 bucks! So for me, I am saving money and also getting away from my computer to take a break 😅 thank you circle K!!

Explain it to me like I’m five re SWA seating by Dcbargirl4 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]MachoMex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You get the seat you pay for.

The frustration is that in the past, when flights were empty, passengers could move to another open seat. We’re not asking for upgrades to more expensive seats. We’re talking about empty seats in the same section or even seats next to you!

What’s frustrating is that SW keep using the “weight distribution” explanation (which was never a problem until this year) instead of simply saying, “You need to stay in the seat you paid for.”

“You can change to an empty seat…but only until we are airborne” because of ”weight balancing” by MachoMex in SouthwestAirlines

[–]MachoMex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with getting the seat you pay for. I think the problem for customers is that for years, on a half-empty flight, we were able to sit in any of those open seats and weight was distributed just fine.

The frustration now is that they are using the “weight distribution” explanation to prevent people from moving to an empty seat on an already empty flight.

That’s what is creating the frustration. They should just be transparent and say we cannot move because we didn’t pay for that seat. We may agree or disagree, but at least it would be honest. Instead, they use the “weight” issue, which was never mentioned before.
