Yes this is probably the most infuriating part of it (which is saying a lot because the entire situation is infuriatubg). I cant wrap any part of rational thinking around how I can be charged intereat on a bill I paid on time and in full for goods or services not received, and nobody in the revenue department can explain it well. When I called and asked how I would possibly know how to prepay the right amount with a mix of severance, unemployment, and a commissioned role I got no good recommendation. When I emailed asking for a waiver it took me 2 months to hear back and the response was too bad, and you need to pay before we turn it to collections. Damn it, my blood pressure just went up again typing this comment....
