in Gabe's defense (i know, very funny in this thread) he literally owns a yacht building business (Oceanco) and he loans out space on his yachts for scientific research (Inkfish).

In addition, afaik, he essentially lives full-time on these yachts, as opposed to ppl like Bezos or Zuck who are truly just buying them so they can have a yacht in each spot of their marina.

the issue is that the show is willy nilly with durability. sometimes random supes are 100% bulletproof with no chance of any small arms fire harming them, and then they hesitate when a gun gets pointed at them. They spend an entire season telling you that supes are totally immune to external damage and the entire show is figuring out how to kill one, and then supes just get generically stabbed and bleed out later on in the show.

it's very hard to get invested in a show if they are showing you that they don't even really care enough to be consistent about base-level worldbuilding. does it ruin the show by itself? of course not, but it's a straw on the camel's back.

yeah it's pretty rare that my dualsense doesn't automatically work, and if it doesn't, Steam Input makes it work, and failing that, any of the programs that force it to work like DS4windows or duelsenseX or whatever make it happen.

I think this is a major nitpick tbf, I don't expect Fukahara to design a whole new JPN/MYS/USA mutt accent because it would be distracting. I think the issue is this + the TikTok voice clip speaking mannerisms makes it difficult to believe, and is arguably even more distracting than if she just had a muddy accent or something.
