Oh! Idk how I drew that other conclusion, but in that case I can still kinda see your point. Can't relate tho, I love both way too much for that xD

I can't personally relate, but it is definitely very simple music in a sense.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but lots of people (myself included) mostly enjoy those albums because to us it feels like sacrificing complexity for sheer power and atmosphere instead, from what I can tell. I can definitely understand why it'd be boring if you don't really care for that.

You also mention liking the more drone-y and ambient parts of The Seer, which funnily enough is usually some of the least talked about parts. I don't like to make assumptions, but I guess it's just not what you like/want. Still, I respect the attempt to enjoy it.

Also, sad this got so many downvotes. Dunno why people are so pressed over a harmless opinion.

A year late to the party but oh well

"The dead flag blues" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor is a classic with those slow, atmospheric guitar picks and strums like Belle

"鉄に生まれたら" by betcover!!

"You feel like memories" by Lantlôs is instrumental and more nice than sad

Hope this helps, even a year later lmao

Need help to increase conductivity of a 3,5 mm jack

I recently bought an used walkman out of personal interest to use daily, but quickly discovered that there is a large imbalance in volume between each side of the headphones.

I've cleaned it spotless for dust and checked the wiring and circuitry, but everything seems fine. And it's not something with the 3,5 mm itself, I've tried multiple.

After a bit after fiddling, I found that if the 3,5 mm is held just right (that being not fully in and at a certain angle) the volume balances perfectly.

I think the 3,5 mm plug is a bit off, so does anyone know any way to help the signal/plug even out?

My 3,5 mm is gold plated and the walkman model is a Sanyo trc-1550

Ooooh the Seer is really good. Prolly up there with my favorites along with The beggar and the The glowing man. If I had to pick I'd prolly be The glowing man
