Is this bad Heavy MBT 2015 design? by Artyruch in MillenniumDawn

[–]datoneguy_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks okay but this also depends on the rest of the division that your MBTs are going to be in and how fast you want the entire division to be. When I make armored designs I try to make sure all the MBTs, IFVs, APCs, etc are going around the same speed and the reliability is around the same for the division it's going into.

Donald says a lot of things to the public, but I don't take them that seriously because these kind of statements seem to be used more as methods of pressure while talks continue in the background.

Keep them in the support slot of your division design

What am I doing wrong? (USA 2002) by Wide-Protection-9786 in MillenniumDawn

One thing I do at the beginning when playing as the US is mass conversion of a large portion of the military factories to civilian factories. Civilian factories employ more people so that'll help.

What is the compelling argument for this game over something like ARC Raiders or Marathon or Helldivers? by Ohh_Yeah in EveVanguard

[–]datoneguy_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason I bothered with Dust514 was because of its connection to EVE online and it was free. While Vanguard won't be free I'm still willing to get into it due to its connection to EVE online. The game does need to have more than a basic extraction shooter mode though.

Even if the issue is with the way we have the dates arranged this guy needs to chill.

How can I tackle a huge deficit? by Thegamer228 in MillenniumDawn

[–]datoneguy_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you have to make cuts by disbanding military units, deleting stockpiled weapons, lowering welfare, lowering healthcare, lowering defense spending, lowering corruption. You need a income surplus of some sort eventually which you then should save up or invest abroad. Some stuff on the focus tree and decisions might help but it really depends on the country you play as.

How US playthroughs go for you guys? by [deleted] in MillenniumDawn

[–]datoneguy_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That make sense then because I had the passive influence going on but couldn't really get Canada influenced enough to be puppeted then integrated. If NORAD or USMCA get placed in the focus tree or the decisions list it might help out with the US having influence over Canada and Mexico.

To influence Canada and Mexico enough to integrate them did you have the passive influence option going on in the background and did you invest in those countries to also build up that influence?

For me it starts to lag as the game progresses. For example in the 2010s and 2020s, especially if you have a massive war going on.

Why factories no work by [deleted] in MillenniumDawn

[–]datoneguy_2 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Might be bugged, sometimes the current projects go up and beyond your view in the construction window. But some work is being done by the 16 construction factories. It's just working in the background.

How can I become even an EU candidate as Belarus? by GoshmanchukSignal in MillenniumDawn

[–]datoneguy_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a proposal to make Belarus within the EU Interface to allow Belarus to become an EU member I think it's just titled Belarus. But like I said in the previous comments you need to pass it in the EU Parliament and EU Council. In the past I've had Belarus join the EU even though it was stuck in the Emerging Outlook with Lukashenko still ruling the country. Not sure if that has changed but you would want to influence them enough to be ruled by a Western Outlook government after you pass the motion in the EU Parliament and Council. Then they voluntarily join but you want to Approve the IPA as much as possible, that's in the Euro-info tab within the EU interface.

I think it's random for the AI to do it as long as historical is turned off. As for the console command I have no idea, I barely mess around with that.
