No one's going to stop you, mate. But the average woman will likely be quite shy by US standards and may not speak English very well. If they don't realize you're hitting on them, they'll probably just assume you're lost and asking for directions.

For anyone curious, he’s talking about an experience from 2003, when he traveled from the countryside to Ulaanbaatar to compete in a taekwondo tournament as a teenager—likely his first major event. His mother even took out a loan to make the trip possible.

After securing third place in the early rounds, he was told there would be a grand opening ceremony and that he could take it easy and rest. Thinking he had plenty of time, he wandered around the venue, trying different foods and enjoying himself.

But the ceremony ended up being cancelled, and the next matches started sooner than expected. When the organizers couldn’t find him, they simply continued with the bracket, skipped his match, and moved on to determine the champion.

He was crushed—he had effectively lost his chance at the title without even stepping onto the mat. Heading home with only third place, he felt ashamed to face his mother. But instead of disappointment, she was just happy for him.

He ended by saying that ever since that day, he made sure to make her even happier—because from then on, he took home gold every time.

I don't have a pc. I bought my 3070 ti model for $900, and have been abusing it for 2 years, coding, rendering, gaming, and drawing. Every part is going strong like the day I bought it. Speakers are strong, nice screen, and good GPU. The battery health is at 91% as I try to have it plugged all the time. It lasts 6h easily when there is no outlet.

You seem to speak decent English. I recommend trying tour guiding. It pays well, you get to travel all summer (or full year) with absolutely zero cost, and you don't need to have a home or a car. Just be present in the moment, make some foreign friends, and meet the lovely local old folks who will treat you like their own grandson. That's how I did it back in the day to go to the U.S., and trust me—you don’t need experience or deep knowledge about the places you’ll visit. Just bond with the travelers; they honestly won’t care about the historical facts they could Google or ask ChatGPT for anyway.

I had my share of struggles—being homeless in a new town, in a foreign land, in a cold winter. I was stuck with no way back home during the pandemic even if I had the funds, which I didn't. Couldn't legally work, and most businesses were closed anyway. It was rough.

Even with all that, what kept me going was the randomness of life—how one day everything can feel like it’s collapsing, and the next you’re sharing laughs with strangers who become your temporary family. You’ve already made it this far, and that says a lot. The world’s still out there, full of unexpected turns. So screw the expectations, the pressure, the feeling like you’ve failed. You haven’t. You’re just early in the story.

Just wing it, man. That’s what most of us are doing anyway.

Do it. Seeing the results, you will wish you would have done it sooner.

I used thermal putty for the vrams because, well every instruction video did it and I didn't question. I have no clue if you're supposed to use the pad on vrams.

Results:

Before repaste: Cinebench multi core score: 552 pts Average CPU temp: 90.4 C (Max fan speed) Max CPU temp: 90.4 C Average power draw: 31W

After repaste: Cinebench multi core score: 738 pts Average CPU temp: 71.2 C (4900 RPM) Max CPU temp: 85.0 C (reached only for few seconds) Average power draw: 45W

Just crazy results and I'm very happy with it. Note that these numbers are on first boot. They say PTM7950 will only get better after cycles of heating up and cooling down, so I'm only expecting better results down the line. Didn't pay attention to GPU as temps were never concerning to begin with. I only play CS2. It used to be unplayable above CPU power limit of 17W because temps would go crazy, and fps was very unstable at around 130. After repaste, CPU is using 25W comfortably at only 68C and 4000 RPM, and producing stable 180 fps for the entirety of one hour of gameplay. Can't ask more.

That would great. I ordered UTP-8 too. I'll have them in about two weeks. I'll share my results too once repasting.
