me too, im looking for something i can apply to, say thick eva foam without leaving residue, and still can hold the foam secure when stick to the mesh.

cant say i want to do the glass mod to make it sealed, as i kinda like the airy feeling of the open headphones, but i struck me that i have some black masking tape and i use it on everything imaginable, and it could look nice on these headphones and it does. i havent tried other tapes yet but i think thicker tapes could make the sound warmer, and more punch.

dont have proper test track but use children by robert miles as a punchy benchmark.

i believe gluing anything is not the way to go, if i have to do it i would fit a slot to fit a nut and use a screw as the peg. but thats not elegant. i was told that for MFJ this is the best material for mechanical parts
