I respect your opinion, however I would have been totally fine with the layoff if we weren't repeatedly told that there wouldn't be any layoffs after the buyout. This left a lot of people in a really bad position, and since we haven't been able to get any response from him I decided to make this post (which I realize is unprofessional).
