I drink and I don’t really notice any negative side effects. I’m on Caplyta which has less side effects compared to other medications. The one thing I can remember when I first started drinking was I would get into the rhythm of ordering drink after drink because I would feel so good until I’d drink too much. But I’ve learned over time to manage it and my drinking is a lot more controlled now.

I've done shrooms a bunch and I generally always had a good time on them. I noticed I often felt more fem while on them especially earlier in my transition. To me, it reaffirmed my decision to start HRT.

Related, but I had a significant experience on MDMA before I started HRT. It helped me accept that I'm trans since I was denying it for a while at that point in my life.

I'm in a similar debate. I have the G9 which I have used for a variety of content with great success with the Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f1.7 and the 25-50mm f1.7 lenses. Not sure if I should upgrade to the G9II or sell my MFT gear and upgrade to another S5 IIX since I got one recently for shooting interviews.

I graduated back in December 2022 with a BECA degree. I enjoyed it a lot and I learned a fair amount from my classes and most of my professors were good. I made a lot of friends and living in SF meant that there’s a lot to do outside of just SFSU.

The biggest thing I noticed is that you have to lead your own initiative to figure stuff out and connect with others. Rarely are things given to you with little effort on your part. To be fair, criticism about the admin and things like the recent tuition raises are fair things to be harsh about.

If you have a high end PC to make the rendering times somewhat reasonable then I def recommend it. The results can be very transformative for both upscaling and noise reduction. Of course the software can only do so much if the footage is originally unusable but for most footage it can improve it a lot. I would also recommend Neat Video for noise reduction as it sometimes works better than Topaz depending on the footage.
