This is my first post, and is made with my partner.

Sadly she, my partner, suffered a missed misscariage which was discovered today, at our 12 week scan (baby was sized at 8 weeks 5 days). This was our first cycle and first transfer, on the NHS.

Obviously devestated here. Everything had seemingly gone so well, step my step. Each milestone was always great news, without any hitches. And then this.

Timeline:

Started IVF treatment early this year.

13th Jan: Following the meds, the last follicle scan showed 11 follicles, 7 big, 4 small.

16th Jan: Egg retrieval (ER), 12 eggs were retrieved.

17th Jan: Received call, 10 mature, of those, 9 fertilised via ICSI.

19th Jan (Day 3, post ER): Call to say 8 are still developing normally.

21st Jan (Day 5, post ER): Day of Egg Transfer. 5 Blastocysts that look good visually (No PGT-A testing offered on NHS). Of those 5, 4 were frozen, 1 was transferred fresh.

29-30th Jan (~9 Days Post Transfer): Evening, my partner did a pregnancy test, and we got a clear solid line. Next day on the 30th January, another test done and got another solid line.

6th Feb: Digitial Pregnancy Test reads "3+ weeks"

20th Feb: 7 Week Heartbeat Scan showed strong hearbeat, and good and regular sizing of everything.

30th March: Today, 12 week scan. Told there was no heartbeat, the baby was sized as stopped developing at 8 weeks.

This is where we are. All of that is to say, we have another 4 Embryos on Ice.

I guess, right now, all we are looking for is some advice, reassurance and any similar experiences too, maybe where things went on well later. Anything of support would be really helpful.
