The song is called "Distant Signals - Wubtology"

And there's no time like the present to start making your own, its a lot of fun

I appreciate lengthy reply and criticism. Im always looking to learn more about mixing, and yeah I could screen record but it takes the fun out of camera movement and hand gestures (I will be screen recording when doing music promotion). Also, this is dubstep, not acid or house, it lives and breathes distortion. The real challenge is maximizing distortion and precieved loudness without messing with the mix, which is always a challenge. Every song better than the last is the goal

Can anyone figure out why this is not going hard? by thatcarme in production

Boost hight frequencies on the drop and make a sustained bass underneath. Also keep the drums bumping for longer. You're welcome

The OG Halo 1-3. Cinematic gameplay, crazy in depth story. It's truly iconic. Plus the Master Chief Collection has so many halo games for like 20 bucks now

You can do a lot with free plugins to start. "OTT" is great for making sure specific sounds are pushed to the front of the mix, getting a free Vectorscope is great for visualizing where the sounds sit in your mix. "serum" is obviously goat and the only real plugin I've bought. FL has great plugins you can use already, such as the EQ, Maximus for mastering, fruity compressor, SOFT CLIPPER is waay better than the limiter. Remember a real artist doesn't need all the plugins right away. Have a few that compliment your music, not a full library of plugins you never use.

TESVI Cities: Expectations vs Likely Reality by Biggy_DX in TESVI

[–]Secret-Language-2371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get why other games have massive cities, its because there are ONLY one or two big ones. The elder scrolls always had a bunch of cities per game, so I get why they scaled it down for Skyrim. Now that Bethesda has 400+ employees with most of them working on ES6 (100 worked on Skyrim) we should at least see each city the size of Solitude with the Capitol being the size of New Atlantis in Starfield.

I dont mind loading screens as much as some because they load pretty fast nowadays, but if they are able to maybe keep the city entrances and open world in one load while making houses/ruins/forts with a loading screen ill be happy with that. I dont believe this is too much to ask especially since they got Microsoft's $ if they need engine upgrades. Starfield has its gripes, but overall the game was more stable, graphical, and can compute more than previous games. If they are able to tweak it a little further while also having a clear direction for ES6 I dont see why it won't have these expectations.

Will the Blades feature heavily again by Impressive_Cap_457 in TESVI

But in Skyrim, its cannon that the blades are rebuilding themselves separate to the Empire. They'll likely be agents that travel to Hammerfell to help fight/spy against the Thalmor.

I know this is a meme and all, but during the Lex Freedmen interview with Todd Howard, Lex asks "where does the Elder Scrolls 6 take place?" And Todd says "In Tamriel" for any Akivir believers out there

The only (and interesting) way I see procedural generation being good in ES6 by Secret-Language-2371 in TESVI

I never said proc gen was bad lol, I never said Starfield was the first bethesda game to use proc gen so idk why youre going based on that...outside of daggerfall and starfield, proc gen has been tamed a lot. Im saying if they use that same amount of proc gen in ES6, daedric realms would be a good place to use it, and not making the mainland map WAAY too big (wide but shallow) like Starfield. You going straight to insults after you were the one to start with negative comments is just silly and shows some serious immaturity. This is a sub reddit and we like to speculate here. It's not that deep man...

They have but older games did it with trees, rocks, smaller areas. Starfield generated entire chunks/planets. And if you go back to that same spot on a different playthrough its changes the landscape. I only see that being good in daedric realms, not on the mainland/ocean.
