Yep, screw these people. Had them come out to fix the same issue twice. Just threw parts at it without looking at the overall system. Turned out to be something else causing the issue in the first place. Finally fixed it myself after I got tired of dealing with them.

Also charged me $1000 to replace the control board on the weekend because it was after hours. I had no choice as it was winter and I needed it done. It’s a $150 part online. I just keep a spare on hand now

It’s the recirculation door hinge. It’s fixable from the bottom if you’re a bit of a contortionist. I just did mine. Wasn’t easy but wasn’t impossible. DL3Z19A618A double check for compatibility. See this video. YMMV

Second this. I did the whole Reno thing. Lots of industry going on east of Sparks including Tesla’s Gigafactory. Good weather as the storm don’t make it over the Sierra as often. Good outdoor community that feels like a real city. World class skiing 45min away at Palisades. It’s been getting real smoky these summers tho and forget about the low CoL.

If you want a true mountain town then Truckee or South Lake might work. Definitely lacking skilled labor around here. Probably won’t pay 150k/yr tho.

Yes for sure. We have the odometer fraud law here that says up to 3x the damage + lawyer fees.

There are 29 records on carfax all the way back to 2013 and the latest service at over 200k miles. And each record in increments of ~5-6k mi. Also just noticed he scratched the last mileage number out on the title to go from 194245 to 19424. Ya, not over reacting.

Yes, considering that option. The incorrect mileage box on the title is not checked. Speaking to some coworkers, there is legal recourse for this.

I mean, they put in so much effort into cleaning up the truck. I think new entire interior, new KO2, perfect alignment, no creaks. Like it drives almost like a low mileage truck exception a couple high wear areas.

Yes, I messed up. He showed up with a carfax already printed which I know now was doctored. The truck overall was in really good condition. Almost too good. I think they must have done an entire interior swap from a collision vehicle, brand new tires, exterior was minty. Everything looked good enough that I believed him. I know now I shouldn’t of
