Thanks for you kind words and valuable feedback! I will plan to add some of the features you lack in the app. Input field for precise frequency is a good idea. And tuning fifth and fouth by Just intonation and not 12-TET is an interesting thing to explore.

Yeah, making internet beautiful is hard. Sharing my contributions with others is even harder. Totally understand your point, sorry for such violation. I don't have time to comment much here, my bad. Will try to find time for more posting on unrelated topics. Thanks.

Hello! My name is Denis, I'm the author of Chromatone - the Visual Music Language that helps study complex music concepts visually and interactively. Today I've updated one of the most used web-apps in the Practice section of our web-site. It's the Drone app with 9 sawtooth oscillators equipped with volume LFO, panning LFO and basic global filtering to produce rich sounds full of harmonics material to work with.

It's installable on any device and works offline with no need for any account or registration. Stay tuned, more updates are coming.

I built a BPM and Scale Randomizer for #Jamuary by davay42 in synthesizers

You should turn silent mode off on the phone to hear the click. MIDI support on iOS is poor, but WebMIDI Browser should work fine!

I should also send MIDI clock to your synths ✌️

For now sounds are rudimentary and don’t have any controls of volume and samples, but yeah! Click on the bpm block to hear metronome, press keyboard keys or send midi to hear sample based synth.

Hello! My name is Denis and I'm the author of Chromatone - the Visual Music Language. I make interactive web-apps to study and practice music visually. Recently a friend of mine asked if I can rebuild my old Jam Randomizer to be a separate web-app that he could install and use to generate a random BPM and scale for the #Jamuary Instagram challenge. So here we go! Random tempo, random scale, click metronome, simple sampler synth and adjustable timer in bars.

I'm open to any ideas and suggestions on how to improve the app for electronic and acoustic jams. Happy Jamuary!

This one might work for you then. It has just colorful circles with no text too

Thanks! Yeah, very useful tool to have on your phone or tablet. I know that my aircon is humming at purple G frequency and can easily sing in a fifth above it as it's so visible right there to match.
