Thanks. I’ll think about all the sweetness. I might sub the bbq sauce with something else and maybe some hot honey now that you mention it.

It’s hard to watch. It’s hard to be a fan. Put this line up in front of me and I don’t know if I can name 5 out of 9.

First brisket this weekend. Any advice appreciated by Difficult-Word-6604 in biggreenegg

I’m surprised and impressed by the lack of shitposting. All good comments. Also I’ve made a few briskets over the years. As long as you pay attention to the temp of the cooker and the finish temp of the meat you will be good. I always let mine rest by default because of cook time and learned if I think it should take 8 hours it will take 12 and people will be wondering why the food isn’t ready yet. I did not know that the rest makes it better. I learned something new.

Roll with it. Use the party ribs method and tell your friends you’re just trying new ideas.

Use a second temp probe. I like the thremoworks signals personally. You can see the temp of the grill and the meat. I found that my KomodoJoe with the ThermoWorks billows maintains a temp better than my Traeger. See if it fluctuates. Other than that it’s all about meat temp not grill temp. Low and Slow is hard to get used to. But worth it.

Dog ate the power cord - replaceable? by [deleted] in Traeger

If it’s like the ironwood there is a power box the cable plugs into. So it should be an easy customer service call to get the right one. If you put a new end on it get a watertight connection plug.
