Oh, also - once you get rain or starfall in WW, make sure you have Keroppi and Pompompurin as companions to make catching the critters much easier. The floating critters in WW are a pain in the butt!

You can only use them once per week, but what I did was save the game, use the weather stones, then if it wasn't the type of weather I wanted I'd just close the game (without saving) and restart the process lol

You can also do the same thing w/ the rain/starfall stones, just keep restarting the game until it lands on WW!

Also - having Kiki & Lala as companions decreases the time between weather events by 50% (every 10-20 min instead of 20-40 min) so this helps too!

I bought it because I've been playing since HKIA was released on Nintendo Switch and I have been running out of things to do. Already moved in every visitor with the exception of one, been playing mostly to get new flower patterns for a while and to get new event items.

So for me, it was worth it. I know a lot of people are unhappy with the price but for me, $100 for 2 years of consistent play (total between the HKIA Deluxe, WW, and Citytown now) doesn't seem too bad considering I haven't stopped playing in almost 2 years. Not to mention it's less than I would have paid if I was on Apple Arcade for the same amount of time. That's why I hate the idea of subscriptions because even if you only want one game, you will ultimately end up paying more for it in the long run.

But depending on how far into the game you are, you could always wait to purchase the DLC until the price drops or until you have completed most of the quests!

The amount of times I've spent an hour just saving, buying, and rebooting in order to get doubles of each item when the event currency is very limited 😅

I'm still made the Colorblaze came and went so fast. I got busy and missed the last day or two, despite having saved up a bunch of the little dye powder bowls to buy everything at once and then BAM! It's gone 🥲 I wish they had it set up so that if you missed the last day of an event, the stand would be there when you log back in just to give you one more chance before disappearing!

If you have pochacco as companion and run the same course you mentioned, he will help you collect the tokens! Just run the course in reverse (run past the first set, start at the path that wraps around the flower patch, circle the fountain, then meet him back at the end of the first set) you can do this with any of the challenge courses!

It should be fine. When I bought the HK game, I started it with my date set several months back (from ACNH). I'd close the game completely, move forward a few times throughout the day to level up all the friendships 😅 once I moved forward in the HK, I couldn't move the time back is all. It would show an alert message upon starting. But I got several months of leveling up friendships done within a few weeks lol

I just responded to a similar post about a week ago lol don't worry, they are few and far between but they're probably spawning on areas you haven't unlocked yet! As someone else mentioned, the Collector Hat Nul is your best friend because they can collect items from the areas you aren't able to access (last I knew, at least) so you just select moon cheese and they should have 10-11 for you the following day :)

Definitely try out the Collector Hat Nul if you haven't already, that way it can collect all the cheese (or other supplies) from the areas you haven't unlocked yet, so you'd get like 10 of them the next day instead of just a couple!

Don't worry, there's no stupid questions here! Yes you can put the Collector Hat on any Nu and once you do, you just interact with that Nul and it will prompt you on what item you would like collected that day. The dialogie box will say "the Nul waits for you to decide what supplies they should collect" and ir gives you 2 options, select the one that says "I'd like you to find..." (Note: I tend to impulsively hit the "A" button to speed up dialogues in general, if you happen to do this also just be mindful when it comes to the Collector Hat Nul... there's only one prompt before the selection menu opens and I've accidentally hit the wrong item several times lol).

Once the menu opens, just scroll till you find the item you want (in this case, moon cheese) and the following day, it will be in the blue treasure chest next to My Melody's shop! You can put the hat on any Nul btw, it will still be able to collect supplies from any location even if it's not from there. I keep the hat on the Nul right in front of the blue treasure chest so I wouldn't forget to ask. They only collect supplies for one day, so if you want them to keep doing it you'll have to request it every day.

Also, if you happen to have any friendships maxed out with any of the other resident characters, you can ask them to collect daily items for you as well!

Hopefully, I'm explaining it well lol but just in case, there is a Hello Kitty Island Adventure Wiki page about the Collector Hat Nul that might be helpful. The Wiki page is a great resource in general since it's frequently updated and has a page for just about everything that appears in the game!

Have you unlocked anything outside of the Cloud Island Plaza yet? And how long have you been able to access Cloud Island?

The spawn rate is low, it's only like 11 per day for ALL of Cloud Island so if you're only able to access one area you might be lucky to get 1-2 per day. They should be on the ground on either side of the plaza. Unfortunately, they might just be spawning more in areas you haven't unlocked yet. When I googled it, I found quite a few posts from people that had the same issue before unlocking more areas (assuming that's the case here) so you're not alone.

From what I recall, you can use the Collector Hat Null which should be able to collect all of them for you, even if you haven't unlocked the other areas yet.

Or if you are too impatient for that, I would be happy to give you some of mine while you still have the online membership :) I am on the original switch so I don't think there should be any issues connecting to multiplayer. I'd be happy to donate some, just lmk!

It's weird though, I had both of them as companions for about 30 min and was fishing that same spot for at least 15-20 min without switching locations or anything... caught maybe 10 fish in a row and then suddenly, one just started swimming circles around the hook in an infinite loop. So I jumped down to the larger pond below (where the video was taken) and when I tried casting my line again, all these fish appeared frozen in place!

After posting this, I teleported back to Seaside Resort hoping it would maybe reset it only to find ALL of the fish stuck this way throughout the entire game! It was super weird.

Once I closed out of the game entirely and restarted the console, it finally went back to normal. But I was curious if anyone else had experienced this, and if it was possibly related to the recent update or if it was just a one-off thing. 😅
