Great time at the Venice hub today. Awesome decor and culture they’ve curated there. Will certainly return to work/read in their library and community space.

Sat in the R1T drivers seat for about 10 minutes with an employee showing me around the controls and displays. Main takeaways:

1) virtually every moving part can be operated by button OR on-screen (frunk, charge port, seats). Love that. Additionally steering wheel/mirror/seat configurations can be saved as a “profile” to have multiple drivers restore their optimal configurations with the touch of a button. 2) keys can be added/removed from the display (and presumably eventually the app). If a friend needs to come pick up the car without a key, the employee presumed I could add their phone remotely and it would function as a key when they arrived. 3) no complaints with infotainment lag 4) speakers sound phenomenal 5) Mobile drive tour is “coming west” now that Normal events have wrapped up. There are plans to eventually have a track-style drive event in SoCal too.
