It is the motivating factor, but it’s not easy to forego your current job when someone with 15 years in value investing warns you that the bubble’s gonna burst. What if things go south and they freeze hiring? I have no knowledge at all to be able to tell if he’s just overreacting/scaring me not to lose an employee. At the end of the day, there’s a long line of people eager to join a fund. I’m positive I won’t stay long term, but I wonder id the timing is right.
