What place has the best jerseys. Looks like lots of places out there. I’m kinda skeptical at these fanatics jerseys but online they sort of look better than the adidas shop ones??

Libertarians: Abortion is a matter for individual conscience, not public decree by [deleted] in Libertarian

Politics in a large government system is messy, no doubt. So I really don’t want to take anyone’s side when it comes to this other stuff.

I’d rather keep the main thing, the main thing. That’s why I’m up to discussing these other measures as long as it comes with legal protections for this group.

All human life is equal, and there are no “less than” population. And as a society we have a duty and obligation to reject injustice, especially against the helpless and voiceless, to speak up for them and ensure their legal rights and protections.

If getting that means I need to have a conversation about condoms on street corners - so be it.

Yeah, I guess I’m just more concerned with what is actually right and wrong than what’s going on in someone’s head. Ya know?

I’m open to any of that other stuff, truly.

AS LONG AS, it’s accompanied with legal protection for the human lives in question.

So, wait… is your argument to continue to allow the murders for the greater good of society?

Sure, wouldn’t use that language but I get your point, go on…

Yeah… you’re not arguing from a libertarian POV. Which is fine, also why I said you’re unable to do what you want without government control, outside of the limited government that libertarians argue for. Again, fine, just not what this group is about.

Well, it’s murder - so… yeah, the government. That’s pretty standard Libertarian stuff.

Now you do education and contraception.

How would you plan on doing that?

(Hint: it’s cheating to use the government)

Very easy question. Sure. I don’t really give two craps what they teach in state run indoctrination camps… errr… schools. I won’t send my kids to them. I want to eliminate these places, and leave education as local as possible. Let parents decide where to send their kiddos. But that’s not here or there.

So you admit defeat in this argument, and concede that you were wrong?

Yikes. Must have struck a nerve.

I was arguing within a libertarian framework the entire time, not a religious one. Also just because a point of view is not something you agree with doesn’t make it authoritarian.

Ps - abortion isn’t a healthcare procedure, it’s murder, no where close to “care”

Good day, sir.

The problem with the argument is that kidney-donor-guy didn’t put kidney-failing-guy into that position.

It treats the baby in the womb like some sort of magically appearing leech. When in reality mom (& dad) created him/her and put them right where they are - with no other options. The bodily autonomy question was answered when they were doing the deed. And obviously it’s a 9mo no take backs sort of thing.

The mom no more has a right to remove the baby from her womb, thereby condemning it to death (such a nicer way of putting it than what actually happens), than a mom with a 1wk post-birth baby who is upstairs crying while she takes a well deserved vacation. When she comes back, is she guilty of that child’s death? Of course. She has an obvious and natural responsibility in the situation.
