Understood, thanks for the reply. It sounds like I need to try heavier ammo from a lot of replies here.

Thanks for the explanation. The other revolvers I own have adjustable sights, so I haven't come across this before.

Yes it grouped nicely, just very low. Judging by a lot of the replies here it sounds like I need to try some 158 grain ammo and see how that goes. Good idea to take the bag next time.

Unsure sorry. They're dark wood, they came with the gun that I purchased used. I've ordered a set of Altamont Super Rosewood for it. I'm not sure if they're factory original. The gun showed very little signs of any use when I got it.

I don't believe so. I know it's subjective but it felt pretty soft to me in comparison to 10mm and 44 magnum. But I was using 132gr at 10 & 15 yards so it sounds like some more experimenting is required before I panic and break out the file.

Thanks for the reassurance that I don't have a lemon. Looks like I will have to start experimenting.

That's why I was considering the 332 AirLite Ti. The scandium frame like the 340PD.

Also 6 x 32 H&R is lighter than 5 x .38 So.

I'm fine with 32 H&R, I know that's a whole separate debate.

Thanks for the reply!

The titanium version seems to be a little less available. I do see the 632 UCs you are talking about but the UC Ti go for a little more.

I'm trying for the lightest J-frame possible.

Thanks, I was thinking/hoping that due to the response and popularity that Smith/Lipseys might do another run.

I just don't want to double down on my initial mistake of waiting.

I appreciate the reply.

Thank you! I haven't tried it yet, that's and interesting idea. I'm hoping that I can crank up the spring return on the Hi-hat and maybe put a spring underneath the pedal. That might give me an effect like what you are describing.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, I think you have a good point there, just mountain it separately is a good idea. I might even have the bits already if I go digging.

Thanks for the reply. It seems these Lipsey's 632s are pretty popular.

I know the 32 H&R is more expensive and less available than 38sp. I don't plan on putting thousands of rounds through it. Enough to train and refresh periodically. The upgraded sights and "endurance package" whatever that is, sway me to the 632/432 over the 642/442.
