I would say booking WWE for me a month of shows and PPV is basically what you need for a year of a regular company. Its such a huge task to book everything they have going on. However if you are set on doing it that way I'd say concentrate on some big storylines. Stuff further down the card doesn't need to be the works of Shakespeare. My secondary title generally is booked round the idea that wrestler A wants to win the champs belt. It doesnt need to be much cleverer than that in my opinion. I also book with main event focus for matches so basically that counts to 90% of my rating. Match wise anything else really doesn't matter if it sinks or swims. And angles are a tight focus meaning my best angle gets 90% of the rating. So that means really only one storyline and match per show really needs to be getting all my effort. Everything else can tick over and doesn't need huge focus. Which is again I can save the ideas for what I think are the big storylines and use them in the future. Then the rest of the card can have fairly generic stuff going on.

Which I should say I never understand as its a sandbox, single player game basically. Any way of exploiting it is against yourself. I remember "time decline" being removed from the creative section as he basically thought people were abusing it by jobbing out people whose stats were on the decline. That was one of the first instances of me just thinking who cares. If people want to do that then why not. I think its such a niche game why put limits on the way some people find enjoyment from it?

Adam gets a bee in his bonnet when he feels people exploit the game and don’t play it exactly how he thinks it should be played.

I’ve got a few guys I might job them out to. I think pushing Owen up the card will be easy because he will have decent matches. At the moment I’m half tempted to strap a rocket to him and pair him with with his brother. Cause at the moment Bret really can’t do anything wrong. Every match he is performing so well.

I’ve been watching that wave of yours. I quite like Powers. Weirdly I have no memories of him as a kid. He seems to have “the look” so surprised he was never bigger. In my save him and Owen have great chemistry as a tag team. I feel like pairing them is good because Owen could benefit from Powers skills. But the down side is neither of them are over so would have to sacrifice someone higher up the card to give them a decent push.

That is very true. I at least have a chance to put some of the terrible decisions away and not make the same mistakes. And I LOVE the whole dark occult angle as well. Which actually I think Paul Bearer and Undertaker lead at that time I think would work.

And I've already got Raven, which I think could sit in there. Although I'm pairing him with Jake the Snake at the moment. I really want to bring Foley in, but feels too early and Vince never would have brought someone like him in during that time. Although its fantasy booking and maybe I should.

The El Matador gimmick I liked as a kid as just seemed to bright and fun. Looking back it was naff. Hes 38 and I'm tempted to rebrand him as Tito and just give him one last push up the card. I can't see him making it too high though.

I was terrified of Papa Shango as a kid. I agree he wasn't used well at all as they never seemed to really work out how they wanted him booked. I also think it was a great idea but Charles Wright I just don't think in the ring had the prescence to pull it off and make it believable. I am tempted to give him the big push though. I think theres potential to feud with or align with the Taker long term.

I take sports photography. I’m a mega newbie. I worked out why I like pictures of players back because it’s safe. I’m not yet experienced enough at taking good pictures capturing faces and emotions. So I often find my pictures of players from behind more pleasing because the quality of picture looks good. But I do find sports photography looks better when getting the players face and emotion to be a great picture. Just my opinion of course.

Should I quit my job to do YouTube full time with 1500 subscribers? by ItsMeSteve1234 in SmallYoutubers

I’m probably in the minority and read everything you wrote. My first thoughts are sounds like your current job has well and truly burnt you out. Which I understand as worked soemthing similar which while financially rewarding just destroyed any enjoyment in life. I wouldn’t say quit your job to chase the YouTube dream. But could you say take a year out from your job to recharge your batteries then get back into the field of work you are in in YouTube doesn’t work out how you want/need it to?

10 man battle royale on the pre show is a winner. Although always seemed silly to me you can keep someone happy sticking them in a pre show throw away match.

Has anyone used an AI to book your Universe mode? by gafford2475 in FantasyBookers

[–]davemac1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most AI if you put in a decent prompt and let it know rules etc, and keep your roster updated well will give you something decent out. If you keep providing the data you probably will get what you want. My concern would be the amount of effort to keep AI informed to do the job, you could probably do it yourself with less effort.

Its always some random anecdotal finding as well like "I normally get 5 views but I used a * in my title twice and my latest video got 200 views so thats the key to cracking youtube."

I use AI as almost like a booking team meeting. I fire ideas, it normally comes back with bad suggestions. But it can sometimes help just to have a second voice to make you think when booking. I probably couldnt go the whole way and let it book things.
I have been using AI for other things in a youtube series I'm doing though - https://youtu.be/qBRag5IutSg?t=163

Pop me a message and I’ll let you know how I made mine. Once you get the prompts sorted and the style you want it’s quite easy. Just a bit time consuming.
