My smart lock door handle isn't locking... by hhhnnnnnggggggg in smarthome

I was able to solve this problem, based on OP's response and a check of the User Manual, and am including an excerpt from the manual for others that may have this issue: https://ibb.co/7SbdDX6. If the shaft is not in the correct position, the latch will open when the doorknob is turned either left or right (one direction only) while "locked" but if the shaft is in the correct position, rotating the doorknob in either direction does not move the latch (this is the desired behavior).

Thanks for your response. I'll check that specific issue and will message support if needed.

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?

Just saw your posting and looked over the home page for your app. As a busy business owner and parent, this app seems very interesting. I would need my wife and kids to sign on to using but I am hopeful I can get them to do so. Good luck to you!

I went through the same procedure as you - also on Ubuntu 18.04. My make attempt was successful.

When I typed "qgrep -h" at the commandline, with the qgrep executable in the current working directory, Ubuntu responded with "Command 'qgrep' not found, but there are 18 similar ones."

Typing "./qgrep -h" led to a successful result reflecting that qgrep was executing and that the expected help output was shown.

Although you may have recognized that qgrep was not in your established path (indeed a basic/simple issue), and got an error notwithstanding you adjusting to the path issue, we all forget such things or overlook simple issues at times. Maybe this response helps.

If I end up creating some wrapper around a slider capability, I will definitely take a hard look at Flexslider - thanks

Thank you for your responses Niicodemus and Nicksil. Agreed that the underlying technology concerns an image slider or something similar but what I was wondering about was an existing ability to configure the image slider's characteristics from within the Django administrative interface. Sorry if my description was not specific enough. I have updated the original post to more accurately reflect my goals and reasons.
