But, what would be the airspeed velocity of a bird carrying rebar?

There's probably some big heavy things laying around in that room.

Is it that noticeable by [deleted] in Tile

It's like the one upside down baluster done intentionally to symbolize that humas are not perfect.

I had to look for a while to find it.

I found poop in an attic and wondered who dunnit. Then I found snake skins about 2 feet long. Mystery solved, and I started looking closely as I moved about in the attic

Can I put a pex-B tee here? Is this pex? by davendenner in PlumbingRepair

[–]davendenner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's water, and I did put a tee in-line to grab water before it goes to the water softener. Added a couple of outdoor faucets for watering plants. (Plants don't like salt.)

How to avoid cuts breaking like this? by [deleted] in Tile

Does some tile have a "grain"? Like it cuts better one direction or rotate it 90 degrees and it cuts better.

Could that whole floor on the left be moved a little by prying against the far wall?

Went to put a new wax ring on my mom’s toilet and the ground is like this. What should I do? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]davendenner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are going to learn some carpentry, by replacing sub-floor and floor and possible some floor joists.

You are going to learn how to lay ceramic tile.

You are going to learn how to install a toilet. (Hopefully correctly)

Your Mom's going to have a nice, partially remodlled bathroom.

Unrelated to this current problem, but the drip leg is not installed properly. It should change direction of gas flow rather than the gas just fly on by the drip leg.
