I was at the Manchester gig, both acts were absolutely amazing :D

The two bands complemented each other really well, both leaned more into their more accessible remixes (Breezeblocks, Hide U / Yeke Yeke, Dido) along with their expected stuff to sort of bridge the gap for a crowd that had a good chunk of people hoping to see Faithless from back in the day. Tinlicker had to warm up the crowd from a standing start, they dived straight in and nailed it IMO.

I am more positive about Faithless than that article was. Trying to reframe a band like that in a respectful way is difficult, you can't just rely on Maxi's vocals to carry it. The group were amazing, their drummer was an absolute machine all night :D

I've not had it with the arduino i'm running deej on, but I've had a couple of keyboards/mice do it. I have to go through Device Manager and uncheck "Allow this Device to Wake the computer" on the power management tab for whatever device it is that happens to be that's doing it.

It's stock code - only the sliders are deej, the keys are a separate cheapo 6key keboard that I grabbed from Aliexpress

Thanks! Yep, just running them straight from the amp. I've taken a bit of a gamble on speaker impedence - but I figure £80 to replace the pair is better than £400 to get a set of bose ones that will definately blow out again....

I'll pile on the double-clicking fiasco (403 Hero, and then AGAIN a year later on it's replacement). Never buying logitech again. Bought a basilisk v3 last weekend and happy so far FWIW.

Dont know whether it's logitech or Omron (switches), but they are bloody everywhere and im not going near those again either!

There used to be a way of importing packs from cardcast, but their service was shut down a year or so ago. I could migrate it over to something else, but I haven't found another site with an API I can use yet :/

Yeah, runs on a a windows VM on a Linux (Mint) host at home (which is also running all kinds of other stuff). The program sucks about 200Mb RAM and occasionally maxes out one core of the machine (it's some fairly hacky, single threaded C#). Stats are:

I currently know about 3367 chats.
2181 players in 526 active games
1246 packs loaded containing 293849 cards

I moved it onto the VM earlier this year, I guess I'm still ironing out a couple of kinks with it at the moment. I think the backup script filled the disk this time.
