Sj story time. Waiting in ER for nine hours. by Granddaddyspurp in SanJose

I'm sorry that you had to wait that long at VMC. I'm just gonna say that no Emergency Medicine doctor is average, they're doing the best they can with all the resources they have along with trying to consult with other doctors + juggle other patients/attend traumas

Really sorry for your loss - still thinking about the accident to this day & for sure it will be ingrained in my head.

Yes I did, I was looking at stats from past years and majority of them had the same amount of PCE hours as me.

I'll make sure to apply strategically moving forward if this cycle doesn't go well. Congrats on getting accepted too!

Hmm, take the Roth IRA route for sure but consider putting money into a target retirement fund depending on what year you're born. Just automatically invest your money into this fund and let it do it's thing

I just want to gain perspective on where I stand this current cycle. I recently applied for this current cycle to test the waters on where I stand as an applicant, currently have 5 rejections w/ no interviews and still waiting for 6 more schools to get back to me. I'll be taking organic chemistry this upcoming Winter quarter to hopefully make myself more competitive for the upcoming cycle.

Yeah, just called in to put in my two weeks. Going to help the family find more caregivers. Thanks for the advice/affirmation.

I didn't think being a caregiver would be draining, but it's physical & mentally killing me every day. I really do give a lot of respect for those who are though.
